Estimate TDEE

Inputs

TDEE / Daily Calories Calculator

Inputs

Optional extra activity estimate. Leave 0 if already reflected in activity level.

Formula and method

Mifflin-St Jeor method

BMR = 10W + 6.25H − 5A + S; TDEE = BMR × activity multiplier

W is weight in kg, H is height in cm, A is age, and S is +5 for male or -161 for female in the Mifflin-St Jeor equation.

Optional exercise calories are added only if they are not already represented by your selected activity level.

Assumptions

  • For adults only.
  • Activity multipliers are population-level estimates.
  • This is not a diet, medical, or weight-loss prescription.

Practical examples

Moderately active adult

34, female, 168 cm, 68 kg, moderate

BMR plus estimated daily energy expenditure

Desk work scenario

Sedentary activity level

Lower activity multiplier and lower TDEE
